2020 News
Program Dates: Saturday April 18 – June 20, 2020 (no sessions May 16 & 18).
This year will be our 27th year offering Micro Footie to the Britannia Community! Saturday games will take place at Empire Bowl, and Britannia Oval. Practice weeknights will take place at local fields, Garden Park, Britannia Oval, Robson Park and the new location Clinton Park. Included with the program: Playing soccer 2 times a week, World Cup Country Kits, a team photo and NEW for 2020, a Micro Footie soccer ball for all of the children.
We will host a“Meet & Greet” session at the first practice time of the season. First practices will be the week of April 14-17, except Monday April 13, Monday groups’ first practice will be April 6.
Important note: All micro footie players should hear from their coaches at the beginning of April.
Program Updates: The program is introducing a new naming system for all levels of Micro Footie. They are now individually named for the age level of that session, so please keep this in mind when registering for the programs.
